Artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu calls this painted round mask adenike, from the Yoruba name meaning 'the crown is cherished.' His mask is hand carved from local rubberwood and crowned with an elaborate dotted headdress in red, yellow, and blue, with raffia adornments.
