SCALDEX Ointment 25g
- SCALDEX Ointment is a preparation with disinfectant and antibacterial properties. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is responsible for accelerating the process of cleansing the wound from metabolic products.
Composition of SCALDEX Ointment:
100g of the preparation contains: standardized marigold flower extract 9.0g, standardized propolis extract (100%) 3.0g, bacitracin 1.0g, vitamin A 0.03g. Base: anhydrous lanolin, linseed oil, white petrolatum, hard paraffin, cholesterol.
Action SCALDEX Ointment:
The product is an ointment intended for local use. It is a unique complex of ingredients (propolis extract, marigold flower, vitamin A and bacitracin) that have a beneficial effect on the condition of the wound. It is responsible for disinfecting and anti-inflammatory effects. It fights harmful microorganisms and accelerates wound cleansing and elimination of metabolic products and necrotic elements. The ointment stimulates the processes of renewal and regeneration of damaged tissue.

Indications:
It is recommended to use the preparation in the case of chemical burns, first and second degree thermal burns, frostbite, pressure sores, trophic skin changes (e.g. in varicose inflammation of the calves), suppuration of minor wounds, wounds that are difficult to heal, small inflammatory eruptions in the form of lumps and pustules, abrasions and filings embedded in the skin, accompanied by abscesses.
How to use SCALDEX Ointment:
Apply topically. At first, it is recommended to apply the ointment to skin lesions every 2-3 hours. Later, limit the use of the preparation to x 3/24 hours. In the case of lesions accompanied by purulent discharge, it is recommended to wash x 2/24 hours with a solution of potassium permanganate (VII).
